Nutrient Dense Foods

Dr. Joel Fuhrman came up with the Aggregate Nutrient Density Index (ANDI).

This index shows which foods have the highest nutrient per calorie density. The ANDI ranks foods on a scale from 1 to 1000, where 1000 is the most nutrient dense per calorie. This can help you make better food choices, lose weight and get healthier by getting more nutrients with less calories.

Obviously, check with your doctor about any dietary changes. Certain foods, even though they may be considered healthy and on this chart, may not work well for you due to your unique biochemistry/genetics, food allergies/sensitivities or health issues.
